Holden Healthcare partners Seed Planning

Asia-based healthcare research agency, Holden Healthcare, has entered a global strategic partnership with Japanese healthcare research company, Seed Planning, in a joint effort to enhance physician panel access throughout hard-to-reach markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new Holden-Seed Planning partnership leverages the respective strengths of both firms’ local landscape knowledge, while further supporting existing capabilities in project management and operations. Together, they will provide a convenient, fully-integrated, risk-free solution to clients and stakeholders globally, who ultimately seek to achieve deeper access to physician insights in Asia. With dedicated project management teams on local grounds, clients will additionally benefit from having expert guidance to help them navigate the complex and variegated local regulations and business compliance around the region.

In an effort to optimally align long-term interests, Jeffrey Kelsch, Managing Partner and Head of US Operations, Holden Healthcare, will spearhead collaboration efforts, working closely alongside Gaku Sasaki, Senior Executive Officer, Seed Planning.

“We believe that this joint partnership will be momentous and give us a significant advantage in Asia with a sharpened focus on China and Japan,” said Kelsch. “Previously having partnered on multiple fieldwork projects with Seed Planning, we anticipate a seamless delivery in providing easy and less-expensive services, coupled with the local know-how of the Japan market, at our same high-quality standards.”

“We are seeing a great deal of interest in the Asian markets and this collaboration allows us to offer faster, scalable, and more affordable research operational capabilities to well-exceed client’s research goals,” said Sasaki. “For a long time, I have wanted to provide a comprehensive suite of services in Asia. This cooperation with Holden Healthcare will now solidify our market presence as a trusted leader with local expertise.”

Details of the partnership follows on the heels of a recent physician data expansion deal between Holden Healthcare and US-based Arbittier Opinion Panel Systems (AOPS), in which Arbittier, of AOPS, describes China and all Asia as a ‘vital part of the pharmaceutical landscape, yet under-measured by the research community’; Holden and Seed Planning, together, will continue to invest in market research capabilities to support the growing demands for APAC research needs.
