Kantar TNS has appointed Lynn Zhang as Managing Director in China. Zhang joins from Nielsen where she served as Vice President for Qualitative Practice and Emerging Business, Greater China for six years, having previously worked at Kantar TNS in Beijing as Research Director between 2007 and 2011.
In her new role, Zhang will lead Kantar TNS’s business in China, providing clients with actionable insights across the expertise areas of innovation, brand and communication, shopper activation and customer experience.
Zhang’s experience spans 16 years, across multiple geographies. She started her career with Reid Research Service in New Zealand and then AMR Interactive in Australia, before moving to China. She holds a Masters in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Zhang will be based in Beijing and report to Deepender Rana, CEO of Greater China for the insight branch of Kantar
Commenting on her appointment, Zhang said, “I am excited to be back at Kantar TNS, as we embark on a new chapter with our focus on moments-led growth.
