    Majestic Research Group has opened a Social Media Insights practice, and appointed Priyanko Sinha as ‘Client Servicing Director – Social Insights’ in India.

    Privanko joins from market intelligence and content services provider Netscribes, where he served as Senior Manager – Online Reputation Management & Social Media Intelligence; and before this he worked for WPP-owned digital agency Mirum (previously called Social Wavelength) as Manager of Online Reputation Management. Earlier, he held operational roles at Krypsis Technologies, Great Media Technologies, Aegis, Cramster.com and GENPACT.

    MRSS India not only incorporates social media strategies, but also acts as social media consultant  providing services to support brands need to be truly successful in the social space. Brands can identify their strategical strengths & weaknesses, improve engagement efforts, measure brand health and track marketing campaigns.

    Commenting on the new practice Raj Sharma, Chairman of MRSS India, said: ‘This space was ignored by most market research firms and digital agencies were providing these services. However, this falls under the realm of the marketing researcher and therefore we are glad that we now have developed specific skill sets and capabilities to provide these services to both our existing and new clients’
