Consumer data agency IRI has appointed Paul Hinds to the role of Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region. Hinds will be based in the firm’s Sydney, Australia office.
Hinds is a highly experienced and accomplished global IRI executive and he moves into the new role after an extremely successful period as Senior Vice President of IRI’s UK Retail Solutions business. In his UK role, he led the transformation of IRI’s Retail business, introducing many new initiatives, including the rollout of the industry-leading IRI Liquid Data® technology platform to empower retail and manufacturer clients across their customer and commercial strategies.
Before IRI, he spent five years in a variety of leadership roles at Beyond Analysis, including UK Operations Director, and five years at dunnhumby, working across the business managing insight and loyalty programmes for clients. The latter role included working for parent company Tesco, developing the retailer’s online shopper panel products and services. Earlier, he worked for First T, a joint venture between dunnhumby and BMRB, creating bespoke brand, media and attitudinal panels by matching customer databases to the TGI panel.
