Digital data collection specialist Research Now has appointed former WPP / Kantar exec George Pappachen for a newly created position, EVP Corporate Development & Strategy.
Pappachen will play a pivotal role in developing strategies for the organization, both corporate-wide and within business units to drive accelerated growth. The business development strategies will build on the company’s core asset of high-quality first-party research panel data, and will expand Research Now’s reach into research and data-related technology platforms and marketing services to address new opportunities presented by the dynamic global marketing environment.
Among his responsibilities are ensuring the company stays on the leading edge of the rapidly evolving data-driven and multichannel marketing and market research landscape; evaluating new geographies and target markets; identifying and pursuing potential acquisitions and partnerships; and orchestrating new initiatives across various company functions, including sales, marketing, and product development.
Pappachen brings substantial experience in technology, data, research, analytics, and global investments. Most recently, he served as President of Global Products and EVP, Strategy and Business Development at Kantar Media. Before that, he was Global Strategy and Business Development Director for WPP’s Data Alliance. Earlier in his career at WPP, Pappachen served as WPP’s first Global Chief Privacy Officer.
